Cameron is best known for his governance roles. He was instrumental in setting up the Carlaw Heritage Trust and supporting Auckland Rugby League to become one of the wealthiest sports bodies in New Zealand. Cameron has acted in an advisory role to some of the wealthiest individuals in New Zealand and acts in trustee roles for both corporate and small businesses who require a safe pair of hands to protect and grow their wealth. He is a Chartered member of the Institute of Directors and a contributor to the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants.
